Architecture as an Experience

The experience opens at ground level, then builds a story around the tower's form, scale, and engineering. Each chapter pairs a visual scene with a focused explanation so visitors can explore at their own pace.

3D imagery is delivered through scroll-controlled video painted onto canvas. Crossfades, altitude readouts, and structural notes turn the footage into an interactive documentary, with chapter navigation for visitors who want to jump ahead.

AI Workflow & Interaction Design

An AI-assisted creative workflow brings together scene direction, visual iteration, and a working scroll prototype. The experience connects three layers:

01

Shape the narrative

Organise the journey into eight chapters: arrival, design, height, anatomy, experience, floors, foundation, and legacy. Keep each chapter focused on one idea.

Story structureScene direction
02

Build the visual sequence

Pair architectural scenes with close-ups and cutaways. Use a consistent cinematic palette, poster images for the initial view, and video sequences for movement.

03

Connect motion to scroll

Map scroll progress to video time, synchronise text and diagrams, and adapt the layout for smaller screens. Visitors can scrub through the story or use the chapter navigation.

Inside the Scroll Journey

Scale comparisons make height easier to grasp, while structural cutaways shift the story from the skyline to the engineering inside the tower.

Designed for the Browser

The same chapter structure carries onto mobile, with typography and scene framing adjusted for a portrait viewport. Poster images appear while video loads, and upcoming chapters load in the background.

The project runs on Cloudflare Workers and is available directly from this portfolio.
